Turkmen musicians participate in a festival in Georgia

Turkmen musicians take part in the Tsinandal classical music festival

Musicians of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Mai Kuliyeva are taking part in the 7th Tsinandal Festival of Classical Music, which opened on September 4 in Georgia. Arzuw.news reports with reference to Turkmenistan: Golden Age.

The festival united outstanding performers, conductors, composers and connoisseurs of classical music from all over the world, turning into a platform for intercultural dialog. Turkmen artists perform as part of the Pan-Caucasus Youth Orchestra, which includes young musicians from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Turkey and Ukraine.

The program of the event includes special days dedicated to Turkmen music. On September 9, works by world-famous Turkmen composer Nury Khalmammedov will be performed, and on September 13, a special day of national music of Turkmenistan will be held with the performance of works by famous Turkmen authors.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Georgia D. Seyitmammedov held a meeting with the Minister of Culture T. Rukhadze and the organizers of the event. The diplomat expressed confidence that the festival would strengthen bilateral ties between the states and open new prospects for cooperation in humanitarian, educational and cultural spheres.

The Tsinandala Festival will continue until September 14, 2025.
