Turkmen athletes held their first training sessions in Paris

The capital of the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games welcomed athletes from Turkmenistan. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."

Having settled in the Olympic Village, the Turkmen athletes hung out the flag of their native country and a banner with the inscription "Team Turkmenistan". The athletes have already held their first training sessions. Master of Sports in 100-meter freestyle Musa Jalaev and Turkmenistan's Master of Sports Ainura Primova tried out the Olympic swimming pool.

Track and field athlete Valentina Meredova, who will compete in the preliminary race on August 2, has also begun preparations for the competition. Judokas Serdar Rakhimov and Maisa Pardayeva also began training. Weightlifter Davranbek Hasanbayev is completing preparations for the Gokder Games and will join the national team August 4.
