Turkmen athletes win 9 medals in belt wrestling

Turkmen athletes won 9 medals of various values at the 22nd World Belt Wrestling Championship that ended in Kazan. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age." 

A total of 270 athletes from 35 countries took part in the championship, where men's and women's freestyle and classical style sets of awards were drawn. Turkmen athletes won three gold, one silver and five bronze medals.

Gold medal winners in freestyle belt wrestling were Abdiresul Durdyev in the 62 kg weight category, Annagurban Allaberdiev in the 90 kg weight category and Palvan Gurbangeldiev in the 100 kg weight category. "Silver" to the country brought N. Baidogdiyev in the classical style. "Bronze" in classical style won D. Nazarov, in freestyle belt wrestling - A. Amandurdiyev, M. Nurberdiev, A. Orazmuhammedov and N. Nazarov.
