Turkmen students underwent general medicine internship in Astrakhan

A Turkmen delegation of fourth-year students of the Medical Faculty of the Myrat Garryev State Medical University of Turkmenistan practiced general medicine at the clinic of the Astrakhan State Medical University from July 5 to 20. This is reported by the Internet publication "Westiabad."

Students from Turkmenistan got acquainted with the work of the therapeutic, cardiological and rehabilitation departments of the private medical organization "Medical and Sanitary Unit". The program of industrial practice also included acquaintance with the work of the reception department of the ophthalmology department and a visit to the accreditation and simulation center of Astrakhan University.

The Rector of Astrakhan State Medical University expressed her hope for further development of cooperation and wished the students success in their medical work.
