Turkmen medical scientists sign agreement with colleagues from Russia

Medical scientists from Turkmenistan signed an agreement with colleagues from the Pasteur Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology of Rospotrebnadzor of the Russian Federation. The subject of the agreement is cooperation in assessing the population immunity of the Turkmen population to various infections. This is reported by the Internet edition AsmanNews. 

Under the agreement, a study will be conducted to analyze the population immunity of Turkmenistan. The results obtained will be the starting point for forecasting the epidemiological situation in the country and planning measures to prevent infectious diseases.

In Turkmenistan, such a large-scale survey will be conducted for the first time. It will include collection of laboratory material and free testing using modern methods for current infections - measles, rubella, mumps, viral hepatitis, measles and rubella.
