Turkmen doctors took part in the international congress in Baku

VIII International Congress called "Baku Heart Days" dedicated to cardiology started in Baku on May 20. This is reported on Orient news website.

During the congress from May 20 to 21, the latest achievements in the field of cardiology and cardiac surgery were discussed, including in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, which according to WHO rank first in the list of diseases leading to death.

The event is organized by the Azerbaijan Society of Cardiovascular Surgery.
The congress was attended by more than 400 medical professionals from more than 20 countries.

The Congress was preceded by a round table on the future of cardiovascular surgery, which was attended by Turkmen, Turkish, Azerbaijani, Kazakh, Uzbek and Kyrgyz medics.
