Turkmen diplomat meets Qatari Interior Minister

On January 17, 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Qatar Myratgeldi Seyitmammadov met with the Minister of State for Interior of Qatar Sheikh Abdelaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammed Al-Thani. This was reported by the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Among the topics of discussion were topical issues in the consular line and prospects for establishing cooperation in areas related to migration procedures. Attention was paid to the development of partnership between the relevant agencies of the two countries.

In addition, the possibility of expanding and improving the legal framework for interstate cooperation was considered during the conversation.
