Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Bulgaria Esen Aidogdiyev presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Georgiev Radev on September 18, 2024. This is reported on the website Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.
The credentials presentation ceremony took place at the Presidential Palace in Sofia. At the beginning of the conversation, the Turkmen diplomat conveyed greetings from President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Bulgarian President Rumen Georgiev Radev, in turn, conveyed reciprocal greetings.
The Turkmen side expressed interest in expanding cooperation with Bulgaria in trade and economic, political and diplomatic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
