A specialist of the Ashgabatagyzsuw Production Association of Ashgabat city khakimlik Serdar Gurbanov conducted a tour of the largest fresh water treatment plant in Turkmenistan. This is reported by the online edition of Vestiabad.ru
The enterprise is located in Ahal province and produces 250 thousand cubic meters of drinking water per day by processing water from the Karakum River. The water purification process includes many technological stages, including collection, removal of suspended particles, purification of industrial and waste water, chlorination, removal of salt and lime, and destruction of pathogenic microflora.
The availability of its own laboratory at the enterprise ensures the possibility of hourly analysis of water to determine its quality and chemical composition.
