Turkmen university to hold mental arithmetic Olympiad

The National Olympiad on mental arithmetic will be held on June 24-25 at the Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli in Ashgabat. This is reported by the Internet edition "Türkmenistan habarlar portaly.".

The intellectual competition is organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, and its participants will be schoolchildren from all provinces of the country. On June 24, schoolchildren will compete in calculating calendar dates in their minds, oral extraction of square root from a six-digit number, oral addition of multi-digit numbers, oral multiplication of two-digit numbers. The second day of the Olympiad will be devoted to speed counting in the Flash Anzan Marathon format.

Winners and prize-winners will be awarded diplomas of appropriate degrees. The conditions of participation in the Olympiad are specified on the official website of the Ministry of Education.
