Turkmen cinema to be shown in Korea as part of CA film festival

Shinhan University in South Korea will host the opening of the Central Asian Film Festival on April 28, 2023. The festival will include 12 works by filmmakers from Central Asian countries (Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan), as well as three films from "invited" states - Azerbaijan, Mongolia and Indonesia. This is reported by Orient news.

The festival will last two days on April 28-29 this year, during which, in addition to showing films, it will be possible to see taekwondo demonstrations, as well as listen to concerts of popular bands and pop singers.

Recall that the Days of Turkmenistan Culture dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of philosopher and poet of the East Makhtumkuli Fraghi were recently held in Korea. The event was organized by the city authorities of Yijonbu and Shinhan University.
