Representatives of the D. Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages (TNIML) and Iran's Bojnord University organized a video meeting, during which agreements were reached to develop further cooperation.
The Iranian side was represented by Rector Ahmad Mohagar and the Turkmen side by TNIMYA Rector Maral Kulieva, as well as the faculty of both institutions of higher education. The sides discussed prospects for cooperation in academic and scientific exchanges.
The head of Bojnord University briefed his colleagues on scientific and educational projects and academic exchange programs. Ahmad Mohagar noted that the partnership between universities in Iran and Turkmenistan has great potential for development. In particular, it is based on the common historical, spiritual and cultural roots of the two countries.
The head of TNIML told the audience about the activities of her institution in science and education, as well as the active international cooperation with higher educational institutions in several other countries. Maral Kuliea also noted that the Turkmen linguistic university provides training in the Persian language and literature.
Mojtaba Moharad, head of the Department of Persian Language and Literature at Bojnord University, also spoke on this topic. He spoke about the interaction with TNIMYA's Persian language department, suggesting that it should be intensified in the future. The two sides were interested in the possibility of joint forums and research activities aimed at studying and preserving literary treasures.
Bozhnourd University is a public university in Iran, located in the city of Bozhnourd, the administrative center of North Khorasan Province. It began its activities in 2005. There are 27 undergraduate and 24 postgraduate programs, including art, engineering, and other fields.
