Ashgabat hosted a conference to mark the 28th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Permanent Neutrality

Today, December 11, 2023, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a conference "Dialogue - a guarantee of peace", dedicated to the 28th anniversary of the Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan. This was reported by the online publication "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".

An exhibition of stands of foreign embassies and international organizations was organized for the guests of the conference in the foyer of the Institute. The theme of the conference was uniting efforts in strengthening peaceful and trusting relations between the peoples of the world.

A. Ataeva, Turkmenistan's Permanent Representative to the UN, and D. Shlapachenko, UN Resident Coordinator in Turkmenistan, made speeches during the conference. The speeches emphasized the special role of Turkmenistan's neutral status in international relations and solving global problems. At the end of the forum, a round table was held and the final document was adopted.
