An exhibition of works by participants of the US-Turkmen Exchange Program opened at the GAHT

The gallery of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan hosted the opening of the exhibition of the best plein air works of the participants of the US-Turkmen Fine Arts Exchange Program. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The project participants had an opportunity to get new knowledge and skills from the representative of the foreign school of fine arts Aimee Erickson. The artist held a number of lectures, master classes and plein airs, which helped young Turkmen artists to practice the techniques of painting in nature.

Vaida Vidugiris, Chargé d'Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Turkmenistan, attended the opening ceremony of the exposition and made a welcoming speech in which she emphasized the importance of cooperation and exchange of experience in art.

Fans of painting in the Turkmen capital will be able to visit the exhibition in the GAHT for free in the coming days.
