The construction of a new residential area consisting of 40 apartment buildings and 100 cottages is nearing completion in Turkmenabat, the Turkmen Gundogary newspaper reported.
The housing estate is built in the northeastern part of the city. The houses consist of four floors, each with 32 apartments. Public and private construction companies were involved in the construction of the complex.
In addition to residential buildings, many social, cultural and welfare facilities, such as a grocery store, a convenience store, etc., have been built here.
1,044 workers and 241 units of equipment are involved in the construction. The residential complex is planned to be commissioned on the eve of the Independence Day, September 27, this year.
