Grain harvesting campaign starts in Turkmenistan on June 7

Harvesting of grain crops starts on June 7 in Akhal, Lebap and Mary velayats and June 14 in Balkan and Dashoguz velayats of Turkmenistan. This is reported by the TurkmenPortal online publication.

During the government session on May 31, the Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave his blessing to start harvesting grain from the country's fields. The President noted that the agrarian sector is actively developing in the country with the support of the state, which is expressed in the provision of seeds, mineral fertilizers, chemicals, agricultural machinery and water to agrarians. This contributes to a rich harvest and ensures food security of the country.

Traditionally, the honorable elders gave a start to the harvesting campaign with the words "Bismillah!". The President of Turkmenistan wished the farmers health, happiness and success in their work.
