In Turkmenistan, a memorial "sadaka" dinner was held in honor of the start of construction in Arkadag and in memory of the victims of the tragedies

On October 13, a traditional memorial dinner "sadaka" was held in Turkmenistan. The National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in the event.

"Sadaka" was given on several occasions. First, in connection with the start of construction of the second phase of the innovative city of Arkadag. The work on the creation of a modern settlement was launched in accordance with the decree of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Second, the memorial dinner is dedicated to the memory of the victims of the devastating Ashgabat earthquake of 1948. The names of heroes who died in all wars are also honored.

Finally, sadaqa is given in memory of the victims of the recent earthquake in neighboring Afghanistan. This natural disaster claimed thousands of lives.

Thus, the memorial dinner honored the memory of both victims of tragedies of the past and modern times. At the same time, this event marked an important step in the development of Turkmenistan - the beginning of the second phase of the creation of the innovative city of Arkadag.
