A conference on transport development will be held in the Turkmen city of Turkmenbashi early next week. The event is scheduled for August 15-16. The forum participants will be representatives of developing landlocked states. Owing to their geographical position, 32 countries need to form a reliable transport infrastructure to strengthen their trade and economic relations with the whole world.
Transportation ministers will discuss the central importance of transportation development in mitigating the effects of global climate change and recovering from the pandemic coronavirus. Representatives of different countries will share their experiences in developing transport infrastructure and improving its technical condition. They will also discuss strengthening mutually beneficial partnerships in the field of transport communications.
