Kickboxing championship has started in Turkmenistan

The State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan together with the Kickboxing Federation of Turkmenistan organized the Turkmenistan Kickboxing Championship. This is reported on the website of Orient news.

Turkmenistan's kickboxing championship will be held in Dashoguz. More than 200 athletes in different weight categories from all regions of the country will take part in the tournament. The winners will be determined in three categories: K-1, low-kick and light-contact.

The competition in the style of light contact will be held for the first time in the history of Turkmen kickboxing. The athlete in this type of fight must control the force of the blow when contacting the opponent. The winners of the competition will be able to participate in international tournaments as part of the national team.
