The first wedding was celebrated in the new city of Turkmenistan Arkadag, the first "smart" city in the Central Asian region and the first city of state significance in Turkmenistan, opened on June 29 this year. This was reported by the Russian news agency MIR 24.

The marriage ceremony was held at the Bagt Koshgi Palace. The first newlyweds of Arkadag arrived to congratulate the President of the Republic of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and handed over memorable gifts to the bride and groom.
