Turkmenistan plans to build modern hospitals and health centers

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to Ashgabat, where he familiarized himself with the projects of new healthcare facilities and held a meeting with the heads of relevant departments. This is reported by the news site Asmannews.

A number of medical facilities are planned to be built in the capital and velayats, including a 500-bed multidisciplinary hospital in Ashgabat, a 300-bed hospital in Tedzhen, a Maternal and Child Health Center in Dashoguz, and a Health House in Bagtyyarlyk etrap. The facilities will be equipped with modern equipment and are designed to meet international standards.

The head of state instructed to ensure high quality of construction works, timely commissioning of facilities and equipping medical institutions with advanced technologies, including digital solutions. Special attention is paid to the training of qualified specialists and cooperation with foreign clinics.

The meeting also discussed preparations for the Day of Health Care and Medical Industry Workers, which will be held on October 10. The holiday will include celebrations, openings of medical facilities, an international exhibition and a scientific conference.

The President of Turkmenistan emphasized that the development of the health care system and improvement of the quality of medical services remain key priorities of the state policy.
