Turkmenistan received copies of credentials of the Ambassador of Ireland

Today, Deputy Minister S. Muhammetdurdyev met with the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ireland to Turkmenistan (with residence in Moscow) Claire Brosnan. During the meeting, copies of credentials were handed over. It is reported Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The Turkmen side congratulated Ms. Brosnan on her appointment and assured of readiness to fully support her activities to strengthen interstate ties.

In the course of the conversation, the current state of Turkmen-Irish cooperation in the political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres was reviewed. It was noted that the sides already have a positive experience of interaction within the UN framework, including joint work on General Assembly resolutions.

At the end of the meeting, Clare Brosnan assured that she would make every effort for the dynamic development of partnership between Turkmenistan and Ireland.
