According to the calendar approved by the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, the state program Saglyk started medical examinations of young people.
The task of conducting preventive examinations to get information about the state of health of the nation, primarily of children and students in schools and universities was set before medical workers by the head of state at a working meeting on April 8.
To carry out medical examinations of students at universities, special groups of doctors were created, including: therapists, ophthalmologists, otolaryngologists, dermatologists and dentists. Also, given the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, the groups included SES specialists.
Preventive work is of great importance for the timely detection of various pathologies, as well as risks, the elimination of which allows you to prevent disease or slow its onset. Students who are found to have health problems will be further treated in the Health Houses in their place of residence.
In addition, as part of preventive measures in Turkmenistan, there are awareness-raising activities about healthy lifestyles, proper nutrition, the benefits of physical activity and sports.
