Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan discuss cooperation in the field of medicine

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Uzbekistan Sh. Meredov held a meeting with Minister of Health of Uzbekistan A. The two sides considered the prospects of cooperation in the field of healthcare, pharmacy, medical education and exchange of professional experience between the two countries.

The Turkmen diplomat informed the Uzbek side about the establishment of a large medical cluster in the city of Arkadag within the framework of the State Program "Saglyk". This project is focused on conducting scientific research in the field of drug development and production of medical products.

During the meeting, the activities of Arkadag Medisina Klasteri Menejment were presented. Uzbek colleagues were shown various types of medical devices produced by this enterprise, which meet international quality standards.
