In the period from November 27 to 28 this year, Turkmenistan will host an international conference on preventive measures to prevent the use of psychoactive substances. Among the topical issues of the forthcoming forum are supply reduction and improvement of national expertise in the field of addictology and treatment in Central Asia. This is reported by the online edition AsmanNews.
The event will be held within the framework of CADAP 7, a project that receives funding from the European Union. The conference was organized by the CADAP program and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the event, the participants - representatives of government agencies, specialists and experts - will share their experience in preventing substance use, discuss strategies and outline further joint actions to combat this problem at the interstate level.
