Turkmenistan has held a dutar competition "The Clue of Makhtumkuli Fraghi's Mind". This is reported by the online edition of Vestiabad.ru.
The contest was held in connection with the declaration of 2024 in Turkmenistan as the year of "The Treasure of Makhtumkuli Fraghi's Mind". In this regard, the contest was mainly based on musical compositions based on the poems of the outstanding Turkmen poet, thinker and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fraghi.
The winners of the competition, as assessed by a competent jury, were three applicants. Ogulkeyik Esenova, the bronze winner of the competition, said in an interview that she has been singing since childhood, graduated from music school and now teaches this important art to children, helping them to find their own vocal style. Having performed a folk song at the Bakhshi contest, Ogulkeik deservedly won the third place despite serious competition.
The winners and prize-winners of the competition were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts.
