A seminar for hydrometeorological engineers was held in Turkmenistan

A practical workshop for hydrometeorological engineers was held within the framework of the project on development of national capacity for adaptation planning in Turkmenistan, which was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment together with UNDP. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The participants of the practical course were specialists from Ashgabat, as well as from Balkan, Mary and Lebap provinces of the country. The topic of the seminar was peculiarities of water flow measurement in canals and rivers.

The seminar was conducted by the specialists of the German company OTT Hydromet GmbH, who introduced meteorologists to the modern software OTT QReview, which provides an opportunity for operational analysis of data on water level measurements in reservoirs.
