The State Museum of the Cultural Center of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting of specialists on studying the world experience in museum business. In addition, courses were held to study the world experience in improving the restoration of museum exhibits. This is reported by the news agency "Turkmenistan Today".
The speakers shared their experience of proper storage of museum art, spoke about the importance of the ongoing project "Virtual Travels", the role of museum websites and the possibilities of the digital system in the issue of accounting for museum valuables.
The participants of the event discussed further prospects of museum development in the digital format and modernization of the museum system as a whole. An exhibition was organized to which unique museum values and ethnographic artifacts were brought from the collections of national museums of Turkmenistan: ancient ceramics, handmade carpets, paintings, tapestries, original jewelry.
