A series of seminars are being held in Ashgabat for employees of ministries and agencies to identify cases of human trafficking. The events are organized by the UN Office in cooperation with USAID. This is reported in the online publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age.
On Wednesday, January 25, a seminar was held at Ashgabat International Airport for employees of the Interior Ministry, Customs Service, Migration Service, General Prosecutor's Office, Border Guard Service and the capital's airport.
A similar seminar is scheduled for January 27 in the conference hall of the UN building. This event will be held for representatives of the Consulate of Turkmenistan and the General Prosecutor's Office.
The third seminar on the issue will take place on 31 January in the conference hall of the Turkmenavtoolagary Agency. Aspects of a comprehensive approach to combating the problem of human trafficking will be discussed.
