According to Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Dmitry Volvach, currently more than 20 investment projects worth over $3.5 billion are being implemented in Turkmenistan. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia on the official website economy.gov.ru.
In his speech at the Turkmen-Russian business forum held in Ashgabat on January 19-20, Dmitry Volvach emphasized that after two days of the event representatives of the Russian and Turkmen businesses signed more than 50 bilateral agreements. He noted the readiness of Russian companies to strengthen cooperation with the Turkmen side.
The deputy head of the Ministry of Economic Development also emphasized Russia's interest in the products of Turkmen producers in terms of import substitution.
