Training on methods of controlling vehicle emissions was held in Turkmenistan

From May 14 to 15, the Turkmen capital hosted a training for specialists of air pollution control laboratories of the Environmental Control Service and velayat departments of environmental protection of Turkmenistan within the framework of the joint project of UNDP and the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan "Sustainable Cities in Turkmenistan: integrated development of green cities in Ashgabat and Avaza". This is reported by the Internet publication "TurkmenPortal".

The training participants studied modern methods of emission control of vehicles with gasoline and diesel engines. Upon completion of the training, the specialists received certificates of completion of the training on mastering new devices provided by UNDP. The seminar will contribute to the reduction of harmful emissions into the atmosphere and improve the quality of environmental monitoring.
