The Turkmen Foreign Ministry held a meeting with the EU Commissioner

Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held a meeting with European Union Commissioner for International Partnership Jutta Urpilainen on October 3. It is reported Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

Special attention during the meeting was paid to the upcoming launch of the Coordinating Platform of the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor at the level of transport ministers. The issues of launching the GIZ project "European Union for Green Development of Turkmenistan: Policy Dialogue and Climate Action for 2024-2028" aimed at supporting Turkmenistan on the way to sustainable development were discussed.

The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in digitalization and water resources management.
Other areas of interaction on bilateral and regional programs were also considered.
