Turkmen diplomat meets Georgian parliamentarian

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Georgia D. On October 3, Seyitmammedov held a meeting with Chairman of the Committee on Cultural Affairs of the Parliament of Georgia E. Bolkvadze on issues of Turkmen-Georgian inter-parliamentary cooperation. It is reported Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the sides emphasized the importance of cultural and humanitarian partnership between the states.
It was noted that special importance is attached to the mutual visits of the parliamentary delegation of Georgia to Turkmenistan and the delegation of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan to Georgia, which took place in April this year.

The Ambassador informed about the events held and planned in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fraghi. In this regard, E. Bolkvadze expressed her intention to expand cooperation with Turkmenistan and emphasized that such events contribute to the strengthening of cultural ties.
