Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an online governmental meeting on February 2, during which Deputy Prime Minister H. Geldimiradov presented a draft document "Platform for the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, Phase III. This was reported by Centralasia.news.
Turkmenistan actively cooperates with the United Nations Development Program on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. The submitted project envisages joint monitoring of Turkmenistan's implementation of the third phase of the SDGs. In addition, measures will be taken to improve Turkmenistan's national capacity for WTO accession.
Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the presented project document and gave a number of specific instructions and directives.
