Today, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Gadyrgeldy Mushshikov took part in a meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Government, chaired by Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko.
The heads of national delegations discussed current issues of economic cooperation of the CIS member states, taking into account the situation of the global pandemic. Head of the Executive Committee of the association S. Lebedev reported on the progress of initiatives presented during the meetings of 2018-2020.
The participants heard reports on the mid-term plan to combat the spread of infectious diseases in the participating countries, on cooperation in the field of sanitary protection of mountainous areas, and on cooperation in employment issues.
The participants of the meeting signed a number of multilateral documents. The next meeting of the Council will be held on November 12, 2021 in the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
