The two-day XI Turkmen-German Medical Forum, organized by the country's Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, kicked off in Ashgabat on Thursday, December 14. Foreign specialists are taking part in the event through a digital network. This is reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the sides discussed topical issues of cooperation in such important areas as prevention of various diseases, early diagnosis and therapy, orthopedics, oncology, emergency care, traumatology. The Turkmen side emphasized that the country pays much attention to the improvement of the health care system, in the course of which the advanced achievements of world medicine are actively introduced.
German professors and specialists confirmed their intentions to develop and strengthen fruitful cooperation, expressed readiness to share extensive medical experience and innovative scientific developments with their Turkmen colleagues.
