Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan pays visit to Slovakia

Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov led a delegation of Turkmenistan to the Slovak Republic from July 16 to 17. It is reported Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

During the trip, the delegation took part in political consultations and bilateral meetings to strengthen cooperation. Meetings were held with State Secretary of the Slovak Foreign Ministry Marek Eštok, State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy Vladimir Šimonjak, Presidential Adviser on Diplomatic Affairs Jan Kubiš, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Slovak National Council Marian Carey and Chairman of the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry Peter Mihok.

The main aspects of interaction in the political-diplomatic and cultural-humanitarian spheres, within the framework of international organizations and inter-parliamentary cooperation were considered. The need to expand the legal and contractual framework was noted.
