Turkmen Deputy Foreign Minister meets with US State Department representative

Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov met with Director of the Central Asia Department of the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs of the U.S. Department of State Mark Cameron at the building of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry on October 22. It is reported Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The meeting was devoted to the prospects for further development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United States in a wide range of areas of mutual interest. In addition to politics, trade and economic cooperation, climate change, reduction of methane emissions, and humanitarian sphere were named as priority areas of partnership.

At the end of the talks, the sides noted the importance of building a trustful constructive dialog.
