8 medals were won by athletes at the Asian Championship in Hangzhou, China. More than a hundred athletes from 20 countries competed for prestigious awards in this tournament.
The Asian Championship was followed by the qualifying round in "Kurash: World Series Pro", where the prize of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan was played. The final of the tournament will be held in September in Tashkent, where 4 Turkmen athletes will continue their struggle.
The head coach of the Turkmen team was Dortkuli Tedjenov, head coach of the national team of Turkmenistan and the school of high sportsmanship of the State Committee for Sports of Turkmenistan, and Shirin Kubaeva, coach of the sports school of the Sports Committee of Lebap velayat.
The competitions were a good test of athletes' strength before the XIX Asian Summer Games, which will be held in Hangzhou from September 23 to October 8 this year.
