On July 22 in Samarkand started the VI International Congress dedicated to the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan. More than 250 specialists in Oriental culture from different countries, as well as representatives of the Uzbek government and world-class experts participated in the forum.
The central theme of the large-scale event was the participation of scientists and the technological advances of modern times in the preservation of material cultural treasures. The role of new technologies in the restoration and preservation of various antiquities and ancient art objects was discussed.
One of the most significant and interesting events of the conference was the presentation of 10 albums-books from the cycle "The Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan in the Collections of the World.
