The First UNESCO Club "Languages of the World" Created in Turkmenistan

The UNESCO Club now operates at the D. Azadi National Institute of World Languages. The purpose of the club is to promote the ideas of peace and the humanistic ideals of UNESCO among young people, to maintain interaction between students and experienced figures of science in the field of education and culture.

The most important tasks of the "Languages of the World" club are to form an attitude of tolerance toward bearers of different cultures, environmental education, and the preservation of national values and traditions.

The club will develop students' skills in research, creative and scientific activities, conduct events to enrich their knowledge of the country's cultural heritage. The participants of the club will be students, graduate students, faculty members of the university and representatives of UNESCO.
