German Embassy in Turkmenistan conducts electronic registration of those wishing to obtain a Schengen visa

The website of the German diplomatic mission in Ashgabat notifies citizens of Turkmenistan about the beginning of electronic pre-registration for Schengen visas. Electronic registration will be carried out under the direct supervision of the German Embassy in Turkmenistan. Visitors wishing to apply for a visa should submit a package of documents by the deadline indicated by the diplomatic mission.

An application for a Schengen visa must be submitted no earlier than three months before the planned trip. Citizens of Turkmenistan should personally submit the necessary documents for a visa no later than 15 days before the planned date of travel.

Despite the fact that there is a time limit for the processing of documents, deadlines can be extended for various reasons, sometimes beyond the control of the employees of the German embassy. Therefore, you should have a certain amount of time to allow for unforeseen circumstances when submitting documents. Citizens are informed that the consular office is not financially responsible for delays or refusals to issue visas. Before submitting an application, you should familiarize yourself with the procedure and the list of required documents.
