Embassy of Turkmenistan opened in Doha

As part of the official visit of Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Qatar, Turkmenistan's Foreign Ministry in Doha was inaugurated on Monday, March 20. This is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Accredited diplomatic representatives of foreign countries in Qatar, employees of the Foreign Ministry of Qatar, representatives of the Turkmen Government took part in the opening ceremony.

Speakers at the event emphasized that the opening of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Qatar would provide an opportunity to promote effective cooperation between the two countries in various areas. During the ceremony, the flag of Turkmenistan was raised and the national anthem was played.

Recall that the decree on opening the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the capital of Qatar was signed by Serdar Berdimuhamedov in December last year.
