Agricultural producer Ýigit from Turkmenistan received Global G.A.P certificate

Agricultural products producer Ýigit has received an international certificate Global G.A.P, which confirms that its products meet high quality, environmental and safety standards. This is reported by the Internet portal business.com.tm.

The Turkmen company is a major supplier of selected tomatoes grown in greenhouses located on 34 hectares of land in the Akhal province. The company has 600 employees. The company's products are supplied to domestic and foreign markets, and abroad they are known under the Mahmal Agroproduct brand.

The independent certification organization gave a positive assessment of all production processes of the enterprise, starting from preparation of seed material and ending with storage and placing the finished agricultural products into packaging.

The certification was done with the assistance of USAID's CA Trade Program.
