Demand for technical sulfur and aviation kerosene increased at the GTSB of Turkmenistan

According to information posted on the official website of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, a large batch of technical granulated sulfur at a price of $42 per ton and jet fuel TS-1 at a price of $678.50 per ton was sold at the auction on Tuesday, March 28.

The State Concern "Turkmengaz" signed contracts for the supply of 130 thousand tons of granulated technical sulfur worth $5.4 million with companies from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey and Afghanistan.

Turkmenneft and entrepreneurs from the UAE and Uzbekistan concluded deals for the supply of jet fuel worth $7.8 million. In total, 10 deals worth $13.3 million were concluded on March 28.

Recall that on March 27, 6 more deals worth a total of $2.6 million were made with businessmen from Uzbekistan and Afghanistan. The subject of the deals were granulated sulfur, liquefied gas and illuminating kerosene.
