Turkmenistan and China signed an agreement on technical cooperation

Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and Chinese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Turkmenistan Ji Shumin today signed an agreement on technical and economic cooperation between the governments of the two countries. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The signing ceremony was held in the building of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan. The document is aimed at expanding interaction in the sphere of economic, scientific, technical and infrastructural cooperation between Ashgabat and Beijing.

The agreement provides for the exchange of accumulated positive experience and discussion of practical implementation of advanced innovative solutions in the leading sectors of the economy. The main objective of the document is to intensify partnership between Turkmenistan and the People's Republic of China in the field of technical and economic cooperation.
