The management of the Chinese Petroleum University and representatives of the Embassy of Turkmenistan met at the Chinese Petroleum University in Beijing. This is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting the issues of cooperation between the two countries in the sphere of higher professional education and training of specialists for the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan were raised.
The Turkmen diplomats noted that in the year 2023, which is held in Turkmenistan under the slogan "Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar", it is especially important to establish cooperation with the leading Chinese university. Since 2009, this university has educated almost one thousand Turkmen students.
During the talks, the Turkmen side voiced readiness to participate in the 70th anniversary of the Chinese Petroleum University, which will be held in October 2023.
