Consul of Turkmenistan lays flowers at the memorial in Astrakhan

Consul of Turkmenistan Nury Goliyev took part in the commemorative action of laying flowers at the "Eternal Flame of Glory" memorial in the Bratsky Garden of Astrakhan on the eve of the 78th anniversary of the Great Victory. This was reported by the official website of the Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Russian city of Astrakhan.

Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mehdi Akuchakian, Consul General of Kazakhstan Ardak Madiev, as well as acting representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia in Astrakhan Mergen Dzhevakov and Minister of External Relations of the Astrakhan region Vladimir Golovkov also took part in the commemorative action.

The participants of the event honored the memory of those who died during the Great Patriotic War with a minute of silence. During the event, the Turkmen diplomat noted the weighty contribution of the people of Turkmenistan and all peoples of the former USSR to the common Victory.
