President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received OSCE Secretary General Helga Schmid on June 1. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
Within the framework of the meeting, the OSCE representative presented the head of state with a document on the accession of the city of Arkadag to the project "Development of Sustainable, Green, Climate Friendly Cities with Innovative Solutions in the Region of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe".
Helga Schmid confirmed the OSCE's interest in further developing relations between Turkmenistan and the Organization. The Parties noted the effective and consistent work based on joint Programs.
Special attention during the meeting was paid to international politics and security achieved through the application of political and diplomatic instruments. Political, financial, technological and environmental aspects of cooperation were named as the most promising areas of cooperation.
