The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a meeting with the new Ambassador of the Republic of Korea

On June 9, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a ceremony of presenting copies of credentials of Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Turkmenistan Ji-Kyu-Taek. This is reported on the website of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

Vepa Hajiyev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, congratulated the Korean diplomat on his appointment and expressed readiness to support his diplomatic mission.

In the course of the conversation, the sides noted that the political dialog between the two countries has been actively developing recently, as well as the interaction in trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres has been expanding.

The countries are also actively cooperating in a multilateral format, including within the framework of the Central Asia + Republic of Korea multilateral dialog.

Intergovernmental commissions on economic, scientific and technological cooperation are held regularly.
